Payout Policy
You made money. Now you want it in your bank account. Fair enough. Here's exactly what you need to do and what to expect.
What you need before requesting
You can't just hit a profit and cash out. There's a checklist:
Payout Requirements
- At least 5 profitable trading days (net P&L ≥ $200 each)
- Balance above the Safety Net (for first 5 payouts)
- No violations, resets, or breaches
- KYC verification completed
- Pass the 40% consistency check
The profitable days don't need to be consecutive. They just need to happen after your last payout (or since funding start if it's your first).
What counts as a profitable day? A day where you actually traded, made at least $200 net profit, and didn't break any rules. The system tracks this automatically—check your Dashboard → Payout Tracker.
The Safety Net
For your first 5 payouts, your account must be above the starting balance by $2,500. You can only withdraw the amount above this buffer—not the buffer itself.
From your 6th payout onward, the Safety Net becomes withdrawable too.
Examples
| Account | Payout # | Balance | Eligible? |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50K | 1st | $52,300 | No — below $52,500 |
| $100K | 3rd | $104,000 | Yes — can withdraw $1,500 |
| $75K | 5th | $77,200 | No — below $77,500 |
| $150K | 6th | $153,000 | Yes — full $3,000 available |
Payout limits
There's a cap on how much you can request at once. It increases after your 5th payout:
| Account Size | Payouts 1–5 | Payouts 6+ |
|---|---|---|
| $50K – $100K | $2,500 max | $5,000 max |
| $150K – $200K | $3,500 max | $5,000 max |
If you have more profit than the limit allows, you can request another payout after completing the required trading days again.
The profit split
Here's how the money gets divided:
Example
You've already received $5,000 total in previous payouts.
You request $2,000 now.
You get: $2,000 × 90% = $1,800
EdgeProp keeps: $200
Scenarios
Here's what different situations look like:
Scenario A: Everything checks out
Account: $100K
Balance: $105,800
Profitable days: 5
Violations: None
Result: Eligible for $3,300 payout
Scenario B: Not enough profitable days
Account: $50K
Balance: $56,000
Profitable days: 2
Result: Not eligible. Need 3 more profitable days.

Make sure your KYC is complete and your bank details are accurate before requesting. Mismatched information will delay processing.
Processing timeline
Once your payout is approved:
- Standard processing: 2–5 business days
- If flagged for audit: Processing paused until review is complete
Audits aren't common, but they happen. If your trading pattern looks unusual, EdgeProp may review before releasing funds.
Good to know
- Payouts represent rewards earned in a simulated trading environment
- EdgeProp can audit, delay, or deny payouts for inconsistencies or violations
- Terms may be updated—check this page for the latest version
- After a payout, your profitable day counter resets. You need another 5 days for the next request.
Trade clean. EdgeProp reviews accounts. If something looks off—inconsistent sizing, suspicious patterns, rule violations—they can delay or deny your payout. The best way to get paid smoothly is to trade by the rules.
