Consistency Rule – 40% Max Daily Profit
What Is the Consistency Rule?
The Consistency Rule is applied exclusively to Funded Accounts. It ensures that traders demonstrate steady and repeatable performance, rather than relying on a single large winning day.
Definition: At the time of a payout request, your largest single-day net profit must not exceed 40% of your total net profit since funding began.
This rule is enforced automatically and only during payout evaluation.
Why Do We Use It?
The Consistency Rule exists to:
- Encourage disciplined, professional trading habits
- Prevent risky “all-in” trading styles
- Promote long-term, sustainable growth
- Ensure payouts reflect repeatable skill, not one-time luck
- Prepare traders for future live capital transition
It is not meant to penalize, but to protect both the trader and the funding system.
When Is the Rule Checked?
- Only at the moment of a payout request
- The system calculates the percentage of your biggest winning day relative to your total net profit
- You will see your consistency status in the Funding Dashboard
Note: It has no effect on your ability to trade or progress in the program.
What Happens If You Are Not Eligible?
If your best trading day is over the 40% threshold:
- Your payout request will not be approved
- Your funded account continues as normal
- You may keep trading and increase your total profit
- Once the threshold is respected, you may submit a new payout request
⚠️ No reset or penalty occurs. You are simply advised to continue building a smoother profit curve.
Examples – Understanding the Rule
❌ Example: Not Consistent
- Total net profit: $1,000
- Best trading day: $600
- 40% of $1,000 = $400
- $600 is 60% → Payout not eligible
Trader must continue until total profit is higher or new winning days reduce the imbalance.
✅ Example: Consistent
- Total net profit: $2,500
- Best trading day: $800
- 40% of $2,500 = $1,000
- $800 is 32% → Payout eligible
✅ Example: Fixed Through Continued Trading
- Initial profit: $1,000
- Best day: $500 → 50% (too high)
- Trader adds $1,000 more profit steadily
- Total = $2,000
- 40% = $800 → $500 is now 25% → Eligible
Professional Tips
- Build a steady equity curve: avoid front-loading profits
- Trade smaller size (1–3 contracts) in your first week
- Journal trades to avoid revenge trading after big winners
- Focus on execution, not just payout milestones
