5 Profitable Days Rule Before Each Payout
Overview
To qualify for a payout from a funded account at EdgeProp, traders must complete a minimum of 5 profitable trading days since their last payout (or since funding start for the first request). This ensures payouts are based on sustained performance, not isolated wins.
✅ A "profitable day" = Net P&L above $200 USD after all fees and commissions.
Rule Breakdown
- You need 5 profitable days, each with Net P&L > $200, to request a payout
- These days do not have to be consecutive
- Must occur after the previous payout
- Net P&L is calculated after commissions and data fees
Example 1 – First Payout Request
- Start: July 1
- July 2 → $210 ✅
- July 3 → $250 ✅
- July 4 → $190 ❌
- July 5 → $300 ✅
- July 8 → $220 ✅
- July 9 → $240 ✅
➡️ 5 valid profitable days → Eligible
Example 2 – Second Payout Request
- Payout on July 15 → counter resets
- July 16 → $210 ✅
- July 17 → $230 ✅
- July 18 → $300 ✅
- July 19 → $250 ✅
- July 22 → $180 ❌
- July 23 → $240 ✅
➡️ Eligible after July 23
Key Notes
- Days ≤ $200 Net P&L do not count
- Breakeven or negative days are ignored
- The 5-day counter resets after every payout
- Only days in the funded account count
Why We Use This Rule
